MessageTrade is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. This statement explains the standard we work to, what we have implemented, and how to tell us when something does not work.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the technical standard referenced by EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), which applies from 28 June 2025.
Accessibility is treated as part of ongoing site maintenance rather than a one-off project. New pages and components are reviewed against the same standard before release.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: the vast majority of content meets the standard, and we are actively working on any remaining gaps found during review.
The site is tested with automated audits (axe and Lighthouse), keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom up to 200 percent. It is designed to work with current versions of screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS.
An accessibility button is available on every page (bottom right of the screen). It lets you switch on a high-contrast colour scheme, increase text size, reduce motion and animation, and force links to be underlined. Your choices are stored on your device and applied to every page you visit.
Other built-in features: a skip-to-content link for keyboard users, semantic landmarks and headings, visible keyboard focus indicators, descriptive link text, text alternatives for images and diagrams, labelled form fields with clear error messages, and layouts that reflow on small screens and at high zoom.
The site also respects your operating system's reduced-motion setting automatically, without needing to change anything here.
Some technical diagrams convey detail that is difficult to express fully in a short text alternative. Where this happens, the surrounding copy describes the same information in prose. If a diagram is unclear, contact us and we will provide a plain-text description.
Content served by third parties, such as embedded fonts or external links, is outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard.

Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. That detail helps us reproduce and fix the issue quickly.
